The Nilos Rings were invented in Germany by Engineer
Dr. Hans Ziller in the early 1940's under commission of
the German government.

Ziller & Co. already was a very well established manufacturer of high quality mining equipment such as, presses for vulcanization of conveyer belts and metallic fasteners for their joints and repairs.

Dr. Hans Ziller was then asked to find a solution to the problems and damage caused to military vehicles and equipment that were being operated under severe conditions of contamination such as sand, dust, humidity
or mud - in the desert or off-road.

The contamination by these residues caused the bearings
to lock and consequently shortened their life span.

Dr. Ziller developed a simple and efficient solution, known today throughout the world as Nilos Rings for Bearings, market leader worldwide.
